MIMOmics (Methods for Integrated analysis of multiple Omics datasets) is a FP7-HEALTH-2012 Innovation project funded by the European Commission, running from October 2012 till October 2017, coordinated by the Leiden University Medical Center.
Summary of the project
How methods for data analysis improve the lives of John and Suzy. This animation shows why multiple datasets should be used together to predict outcomes. The MIMOmics consortium develops the necessary methods.
There will be a closed session for MIMOmics members as F2F meeting on June 29, 2017 in Leeds. More details on registration and program will follow.
The topic is statistical and machine learning methods for omics research. The workshop will be under the umbrella of LASR (Leeds Annual Statistical Research) which has been initiated and organized in the past by Prof Kanti Mardia. The workshop will also disseminate methods developed during the 5 years program MIMOmics. Sir David Cox and Prof Ana Conesa (Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe, Valencia, Spain and University of Florida, Gainesville, USA) and many others have confirmed to give a lecture at the workshop. For detailed information and registration (not open yet) see workshop website.
The software workshop will be organized on May 6, 2017, Dubrovnik, prior to Jenner Glycobiology and Medicine symposium, May 7-9, 2017. Two software packages (glycanR and o2plsR) developed in MIMOmics will be presented. The face-to-face training involves lectures, hands-on sessions, tutorials, etc. Details on registration, location etc. will follow when available.
