The F2F meeting on June 29th, 2017 will take place in Leeds. The program will be from 9-17 hr and the location will be room 9.58b in the Worsley building. Information on the location can be found here, and campus map can be downloaded.
The Worsley Building is number 95 on the campus map, with the main entrance on the Clarendon Way. However, please note that Clarendon Way is currently not a through road to traffic due to roadworks, although it is ok for pedestrians.
The topic is statistical and machine learning methods for omics research. The workshop will be under the umbrella of LASR (Leeds Annual Statistical Research) which has been initiated and organized in the past by Prof Kanti Mardia. The workshop will also disseminate methods developed during the 5 years program MIMOmics. Sir David Cox and Prof Ana Conesa (Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe, Valencia, Spain and University of Florida, Gainesville, USA) and many others have confirmed to give a lecture at the workshop. On October 3rd and 4th 2016 the “26th annual Workshop on Mathematical and Statistical Aspects of Molecular Biology” will take place at the Computer Science Laboratory in Cambridge, UK. The call for contributions to the Workshop is open. Submission deadline for oral presentations is August 5 2016. See the website for details.

On April 4-5 the F2F meeting took place at the LUMC in Leiden. Presentations were given on the consortium progress, deliverables and milestones, and dissemination of the MIMOmics project.
